French fashion conglomerate LVMH is making free hand sanitizers for French hospital authorities to battle the ongoing coronavirus outbreak in the region.
Instructed by the company’s CEO Bernard Arnault, the order went to its perfume and cosmetics factories to start making hydroalcoholic gel in order to compensate for the widespread shortage in France, including Christian Dior, Guerlain, and Givenchy’s facilities. The supplies will be donated to both the French authorities and one of Europe’s largest hospital systems Assistance Publique-Hôpitaux de Paris completely for free.
