Luca Guadagnino’s television debut We Are Who We Are starring Kid Cudi and Chloë Sevigny, Alice Braga, and Jordan Kristine Seamon is coming to HBO on September 14. The official trailer for the eight-episode series is out now showing glimpses of a coming of age story set in an American military base in Italy.
The series follows the story of the 14-year-old Fraser Wilson (Grazer), who finds himself moving from New York to the military base with his two mothers Sarah (Sevigny) and Maggie (Braga), both serving the U.S. Army. There, he develops a close friendship with Caitlin Harper (Seamon), who has already been at the base for a few years because of her brother and father (Cudi). Caitlin Harper identifies as transgender and undertakes steps to transition from female to male while looking up to Sarah.
