As Daniel Wroughton Craig retires as 007 after the next installment in the franchise, No Time to Die will have been released, the musician and former One Direction star Harry Styles has denied reports that he is in line to take over the role of James Bond from the English actor.
How come? Although Styles was reported to have attended meetings about the role, his representatives have put an end to the claims, saying that they “aren’t even remotely true” to the Daily Mail. In fact, Tom Hardy, Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba, and Henry Cavill have been considered becoming the next Bond – alongside some murmurings that the next Bond could be female.
No Time to Die has had its release delayed yet again, and is now set to premiere on April 2, 2021, almost a year after it was originally scheduled. Actors including Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Lea Séydoux, and Ben Whishaw will once again reprise their roles, alongside new stars such as Rami Malek, as the film’s antagonist, and Lashana Lynch as a rival 00 agent.
