Lil Nas X is finally releasing new music. Following 2019’s debut EP 7, which dropped in June 2019 at the height of “Old Town Road,” his first solo musical release is looking to be part of his upcoming debut studio album and will join tracks that are entitled “Call Me By Your Name” (after the novel and the coming-of-age film starring Armie Hammer and Timothée Chalamet), “One of Me,” “Titanic,” and “Don’t Want It.”
The upcoming track’s, which is titled “Holiday,” teaser sees the rapper ride through an old west town while his smash hit “Old Town Road” is playing in the background. He soon encounters an intoxicated Santa Claus who has been kicked out of a saloon and walks up to him. He then picks up the Santa hat and watches the label, which also serves as a “binding agreement,” change from “Santa Claus” to “Santa Nas X,” and his horse quickly transforms into a reindeer while his cowboy outfit is switched out to the iconic red suit of Father Christmas.
As soon as he is ready to travel through time, a familiar voice of everybody’s favorite time traveler and Back To The Future trilogy star, Michael J. Fox, warns him to avoid 2020 by all means. “Whatever you do, Nas, don’t go to 2020,” Fox says.
