In an interview about his new film Mank, David Fincher revealed that a miniseries based around the “cancel culture” will be in the works. The critically-acclaimed director—whose Netflix original House of Cards remains one of his biggest projects—unveiled his plans to create the miniseries, describing the premise of the miniseries as a story about “how we in modern society measure an apology.”
“If you give a truly heartfelt apology and no one believes it, did you even apologize at all? It’s a troubling idea. But we live in troubling times.”
So far, the details of Fincher’s upcoming project are still unknown.
