Art book publisher TASCHEN has dedicated its latest upcoming release to the career of famed Japanese architect Kengo Kuma, following a spotlight of Gio Ponti’s catalog of work.
Kuma. Complete Works 1988–Today is a definitive survey of the architect’s oeuvre. From his Great Bamboo Wall house and the Japan National Stadium for the Tokyo Olympics, to his shaping of the China Academy of Art’s Folk Art Museum and the thatched roof of the Yangcheng Lake Tourist Transportation Center, the XXL monograph includes all the most influential and most marvelous architectural feats.
Kuma. Complete Works 1988–Today — which is also available as an Art Edition with a custom-built wooden slipcase and accompanied by a photogravure of a sketch by Kuma — is available to buy from July 11 via the TASCHEN webstore.
