The Landmark Penthouse is the location for the first New York exhibition recently launched by traveling decorative arts gallery Gabriel&Guillaume, atop Steinway Hall in New York City.
Co-presented by frenchCALIFORNIA, the showcase features rare pieces from 1900 to 2019 by renowned artists, photographers, and designers. It is their first exhibition after their partnership at the Salon Art + Design fair.
Spanning two floors, the historic residence boasts over 5,000-square-feet of space complete with a rich upper-level master suite, private terraces, and four bathrooms priced at $21 million, with furniture highlights that include an early sofa by Zaha Hadid from the late 1980s, Gio Ponti’s bookcase from the late 1940s, archival photos from Robert Mapplethorpe, as well as a rare collection of sculptures from Max Ernst.
