The Chromatics-assisted remix of the Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 track “Blinding Lights” by The Weeknd gets a beautifully hypnotic music video. With retro synths and Ruth Radelet’s breathy vocals, it expands Abel’s After Hours universe even further.

The video features some new logo animation by Jarred Hageman, and the editing is credited to Chromatics. Once again Abel Tesfaye is seen in his iconic red suit, battered and bloody look, as he aimlessly drives down the highways in a Benz after getting beaten by a group of offenders at the club. The video ends with a voicemail from an ex who wants to apologize.
