Luxury French fashion house Dior has teamed up with Snapchat to produce three unique augmented reality filters for users to have a glimpse at the new collaboration with luggage manufacturer RIMOWA. With Snapchat’s Face Lens, World Lens, and Marker Tech, Dior has come up with several filters and 3D designs that evoke Kim Jones aesthetic.
The Face Lens utilizes the Dior Oblique theme with a cloudy sky on top of the user’s face, while World Lens features a DMC DeLorean that can be used to explore and find the Dior x Rimowa Personal Clutch bag. Marker Tech offers the ability to experience the clutch in a real-life environment.
The Face Filter and World Lens will be available for one week and geolocated around Dior boutiques in Paris from today, and in Miami and Dubai from the beginning of December. A world preview of its Marker Tech has been revealed at Dior’s Champs-Elysées flagship ahead of the global January 2020 launch and is obtainable by scanning a card via the application.
