Google Workspace is introducing new AI-powered features for its suite of tools including Docs, Gmail, Sheets, Meet, and Chat. These features include auto-generated rough drafts for text documents, tone-altering rewrite functions, auto-generated media in Slides, self-completing insights in Sheets, and new workflows in Chat. The goal is to enhance and assist users rather than replace them, as AI can sometimes make mistakes and require guidance. The features will first be available for English users in the U.S. before rolling out to other countries and languages.
