If the rumors are true, we might witness the unveiling of Gucci and Balenciaga’s collaborative collection pretty soon.
The rumors go on to note that the potential meeting of Kering group’s Creative Directors Alessandro Michele and Demna Gvasalia should be coming at the Italian fashion house’s upcoming “Aria” collection presentation. Word of the collaboration comes after Gucci launched its highly unexpected team-up with The North Face earlier this year.
“Aria” is scheduled to debut on April 15 and is expected to be a major moment for Gucci as 2021 marks the name’s 100th year anniversary. The monumental presentation is expected to feature a series of short films that will be released digitally through a variety of global platforms. It is also important to note that “Aria” falls in line with Gucci’s new brand strategy, being shown outside of a fashion week and that in music, an aria is used to describe a self-contained piece for one voice.
Stay tuned for more info about the potential Gucci x Balenciaga collaboration.
