Being his first Essential Mix since 2011, Jamie xx is back to give us a two-hour long set of classics and dancefloor hits.
The set which came out on BBC’s Radio 1 includes a slew of only the best classics and dance hits from the likes of Philip Glass, Koreless, DJ Technics, Peter Gabriel, and is hosted by Pete Tong. Of course, Jamie put some of his unreleased material on the mix as well to keep all fans satisfied.
He shared his thoughts on the mix to Instagram: “The Essential Mix has always been an important one for me, been listening to it since before I was allowed to go to clubs. I spent the last two weeks trying to finish music so that it could be in here. Had a lot of fun! I hope you enjoy and can dance around your houses to it, and with friends online.”
