Not so long ago, Kanye West bought a ranch in Wyoming in 2018, specifically the Monster Lake Ranch, not very remote from town Cody. But now he made another equally huge step in real estate, acquiring the Bighorn Mountain Ranch for $14,495,000, spreading across 6,713 acres.
The property first established in 1906 encompasses a picturesque land with hills, mountains and canyons, with booming wildlife of deer, elk, antelopes, pheasants and turkeys, as well as trout fish inhabiting a creek that flows through the ranch. The modernized version of the 113-year-old ranch also features two heliports, log cabins, and sauna-equipped lodges.
West told Charlamagne tha God in a May 2018 interview: “I’m going to build five properties, so it’s my first community, I’m getting into development…It’s just the next frontier for me, to develop. We’re standing on my first property. So I’m going to be one of the biggest real-estate developers of all time—what Howard Hughes was to aircrafts and what Henry Ford was to cars. Just the relationships I have with architects, my understanding of space and sacred proportions, just this new vibe, this new energy…We gonna develop cities.”.
While opting to build an amphitheater on his first property, the real estate plans on the Bighorn Mountain are yet to be announced. Nonetheless, it seems Mr. West is serious in going on a foray into real estate development.
