Recently reignited by Hulu‘s Framing Britney Spears, the #FreeBritney movement is as relevant as ever, exploring her career as an icon, the malicious attacks against her by the media and her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake and the conservatorship. Now, reports state that another documentary about Britney Spears will be delivered by Netflix.

The streaming giant’s documentary will be directed by true crime filmmaker Erin Lee Carr and was actually already in production before the debut of the Framing. It will most likely touch on the topics like her rise to icon status as well as the infamous conservatorship involving her father.
