Deemed “one of the best movies of the decade” by Awards Circuit, Bong Joon-ho‘s gem Parasite made SAG Award history last night—it took place at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles—by winning the award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture, making it the first foreign-language film to have done so. Parasite—a movie about greed and class discrimination that threatens the newly formed symbiotic relationship between the wealthy Park family and the destitute Kim clan—garnered multiple accolades and prizes, including Cannes’ Prestigious Palme d’Or Award before the history-making win, along with getting nominated for six Oscars including one for The Best Picture.
