French photographers Isabelle Chapuis and Alexis Pichot travel from Morocco to the US and Turkey to find the perfect setting in which their colorful clouds create ephemeral and dreamy compositions.
The collaboration entitled The Blossom Project aims to raise awareness on human interventions created on earth by suggesting human presence among the natural or abandoned scenery. The colored smoke bombs turn desolated landscapes into a minute worth of abstract compositions that evoke Rothko and Newman through the expressive power of color.
