In an effort to popularize its canon on online platforms, Studio Ghibli has uploaded soundtracks from its celebrated films across major streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, Google Play and YouTube Music.
The single movie from which the soundtrack sadly isn’t available is The Grave of the Fireflies which isn’t under the studio’s rights. However, all the other soundtracks from 23 films are ready for streaming, including tracks from the most popular Spirited Away, Kiki’s Delivery Service, Princess Mononoke, and My Neighbor Totoro.
Adding to the extensive album collection, there are also 15 “image albums” available, featuring music inspired by Studio Ghibli films like Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind and Porco Rosso, which all combined numbers 693 tracks.
