TMZ first broke the news with their report that 6ix9ine signed a record deal worth over $10 million with his former label 10K Records, later confirmed by Billboard on Thursday, October 10.
The Brooklyn based rapper will be dropping two albums – one in English, and the other in Spanish, and if he holds up his end of the contract, he will receive a whopping amount of $10 million. Born Daniel Hernandez, Tekashi is currently facing up to 47 years in prison after pleading guilty to federal racketeering charges so it’s unclear whether he would fulfill the contract.
6ix9ine has remained behind bars since being arrested in November 2018 and the precise length of his prison stay will be determined at his sentencing on December 18, 2019.
