To accompany Peter Jackson’s documentary film of the same name, Callaway Arts & Entertainment and Apple Corps Ltd. have announced the forthcoming official book, THE BEATLES: GET BACK.
The standalone book serves as a recount of the legendary band’s last studio album, Let It Be. It features transcribed conversations from over 120 recorded hours of the band’s studio sessions and hundreds of never-before-seen images on a total of 240 pages, beginning the narrative from January 1969, the group’s final year as a band.
Hundreds of previously unpublished images, including those from Ethan A. Russell and Linda McCartney, will also be included in the hardcover, along with a foreword from Jackson and an introduction from acclaimed novelist Hanif Kureishi.
See the overview video down below and grab the book once it releases on August 31 next year. Jackson’s documentary premieres a little bit earlier, on August 27, 2021.
