Not the first app to see amazing results during Q1 2020, largely due to the coronavirus pandemic, incredibly popular TikTok has officially exceeded 2 billion downloads.

According to Sensor Tower, a mobile app analytics company, TikTok has been downloaded a whopping 315 million times across Apple and Google Play stores, becoming the most downloaded app in Q1 2020.

The ByteDance-owned app has been installed 1.5 billion times on Android (coming from Google Play) while the App Store accounts for 495.2 million downloads, with India being the leading country with the highest number of lifetime installs (611 million), which is 30.3 percent of the total. The United States comes in at third place with 165 million downloads, or in other words 8.2 percent.
