It’s finally here. The perfectly symmetrical, two minute-trailer for Wes Anderson’s upcoming film The French Dispatch set to be released in the US on July 24.
The trailer introduces Bill Murray, who portrays protagonist Arthur Howitzer Jr, an American journalist working at a publication called The French Dispatch, before unveiling the film’s three storylines. The French Dispatch is “a factual, weekly report on the subjects of world politics, the arts – high and low – and diverse stories of human interest,” and the three of the storylines are in fact a collection of tales published in publication: “The Concrete Masterpiece”, “Revisions to a Manifesto” in which stars beloved Timothée Chalamet, and “The Private Dining Room”.
In the trailer can also be seen other big acting names, including Tilda Swinton, Benicio Del Toro, Saoirse Ronan, Léa Seydoux, Owen Wilson, Frances McDormand, Adrien Brody, and many more. Watch it below.
