Legendary filmmaker Wong Kar-wai teams up with Nattawut Poonpiriya, the mind behind Bad Genius, to produce One For The Road, a story about two old friends who have been separated for years, with the screenplay written by Poonpiriya, Nottapon (Kai) Boonprakob and Puangsoi Aksornsawang, and the director of photography being Phaklao Jiraungkoonkun.

The film will be produced through Wong’s Jet Tone Films, and international sales are to be handled by the related company Block 2 Distribution.

“A year working closely with the Grandmaster Mr. Wong Kar-wai is a great opportunity for me to get away from my comfort zone and explore new territory as a director. While still be true to yourself as a human,” said Poonpiriya.
